What we collect
- Your account details (name, email, password hash).
- The resume you upload and the profile we build from it (roles, education, skills, contact details).
- Job descriptions you paste or capture with the browser extension, and the documents we generate from them.
- Billing status from Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
How we use it
- To tailor resumes and cover letters for you. Your profile and the job description are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for generation and are not used to train models.
- To run your account: sign-in, credits, and subscription.
- We do not sell your data and we do not share it with recruiters unless you turn on the recruiter opt-in in Settings.
The browser extension
- The extension only reads the page you're on when you click its icon, and only to extract the job posting text, title, company, and URL.
- It sends that text to snugcv.com to generate your document. It does not track browsing, collect history, or read other tabs.
- It stores a private access token on your device so you don't have to log in each time. You can revoke it from Settings.
Your control
- Edit or delete any profile section, document, or upload from the dashboard at any time.
- Email support@snugcv.com to delete your account and all associated data.
